Speech Evaluation

Our speech-language pathologists (SLPs) are trained in Help Me Speak's approach of evaluating the structure, range of movement, stability, control, coordination, and dissociation of a client's jaw, lips, tongue, & cheeks. Help Me Speak’s approach combines orofacial myology, PROMPT, Talk Tools hierarchies, Beckman stretches, standard articulation tests (as appropriate), the Kaufman Speech Praxis Test, &/or the VMPAC (Verbal Motor Production Assessment in Children).

Help Me Speak combines the above speech evaluation with a swallowing evaluation which analyzes a client's eating, chewing, drinking, and swallowing skills with a variety of food textures.
